Brief introduction:
654SMO is high N alloyed austenitic grade with 7-8% Mo,which makes it the most corrosion resistant stainless steel in the world.
Due to the hgih contents of Cr, Ni, Mo and N,654SMO can compete with Ni-based alloys and Titanium.
It’s high performance austentic stainless steels with good weldability and excellent formability.
It’s used for pressurized and erosive systems handling chlorinated sea water at higher temperatures, plate heat exchangers and flue gas cleaning applications,etc.
